2011 Exhibits:

First Floor

  1. The tour starts in the entry hall with the Barnard-Stockbridge photoes.  It continues down the hall and in the Gift Shop with photoes of the South Mill before the blast..
  2. Kitchen or family life display with ice box, irons, jugs, old menu, kitchen appliances, etc.
  3. "Miner's Picnic" exhibit
  4.  2011 Special Exhibit "Timbers to Tunnels"
  5. 20th Anniversary Commemoration Exhibits
  6. Stairway to basement for minerals and mine models.

Second Floor

  1. Medical Exhibit - Old instru- ments, doctor's photos, etc.
  2. Easton room with old furniture, phonograph, oregon & chairs.  BoyScouts & Y.M.C.A. displays
  3. Sunshine Memorial Display - Dedicated to 91 Sunshine miners who lost their lives in 1972 mine fire.
  4. Textile Room - Old clothing items and quilts
  5. Prospector's Room - Photos & examples of end products
  6. WWP (Avista) Room. Photos of electrical transmission to area in 1903 & early equipment. 
  7. Bunker Hill & Sullivan Mining Co. presidents room and Jackass Ski Bowl memorabilia
  8. Metallurgy Room - Photoes and examples of end products.
  9. School room - Dedicated to early school photoes & trophies.

Basement

  1. Fluorescent Miners Display
